In my new role, I buy properties across 4 or 5 different states so I’m always looking at homes, data and statistics for various areas and communities and I noticed something that actually came as a surprise to me- there are still plenty of really nice, affordable homes in great communities.

I was talking to a colleague a month or so ago and told her that this cannot possibly last long. Pretty soon these little pocket communities will begin to experience rising home prices because the number of people looking for affordability will have no choice but to seek out homes in smaller cities or as stated in the article, “micropolitan areas”.

However, my hope is that this will help to balance out the market & home prices in larger cities as the demand shifts to smaller ones.

I did my landscaping 3 years ago and this is the first year that my azaleas, kim bushes and lavender bloomed. I guess I’ll get out next weekend and do my spring gardening & replenish the mulch. It’s looking real raggedy right now.

So mad at myself for not pruning during winter- my roses would be in full bloom had I done that. Is it too late to prune? They’re over grown & only have a few buds. They’re probably going to be ugly all season 🤦🏾‍♀️

Y’all! I got into a fight today! At Target… smh. Guess with who???? TARGET! It was my will power against their cleverly placed items of EVERYTHING I like along the way to the two small items I needed 🙄

I knew I should not have messed with them today. I was scared to go in, sat in the car for a while building up my courage & resistance. Soon as those automatic doors opened, it was over by a TKO! I grabbed a basket knowing full well I only needed two items 🤦🏾‍♀️

The 2 lil things I needed were only about $25 but I spent almost $200.

I don’t have these kind of problems with Walmart but that damn Target!

CLOSED! My sellers closed on their home yesterday while I was out of town. Almost 15% over the asking price. I have a few more deals to tie up in Knoxville, then I’ll be working primarily in the Atlanta market in a quasi-realtor role; however I’ll still be back and forth between Atlanta and Knoxville.
