🎂💗 A Sweet Birthday Celebration at Wallace North!

Today we celebrated Beth Buckner, our wonderful North Office Admin, with a delicious White Chocolate Raspberry Bundt Cake from Nothing Bundt Cakes! 🍰🎉

Beth has been an important part of the Wallace North Office for 10 years, and so much of what she does happens quietly behind the scenes. From helping our agents with the many details that keep the office running smoothly to always being there when someone needs a hand, Beth’s support makes a difference every day.

We were happy to take a little time today to celebrate her and let her know how much she is appreciated! ❤️

🏡📊 More Learning at Wallace North!

On September 22nd, Wallace North agents enjoyed a Firehouse Subs Lunch & Learn with Merv Norwood of First Choice Appraisal Corp and Kyle Satterfield of CMG Financial focused on Appreciation Rates and Appraisals.

Merv and Kyle shared valuable insight into how appreciation rates and appraisals can affect today’s real estate transactions, while also discussing upcoming changes to the appraisal process and what agents and lenders may experience as appraisers adjust to the new guidelines.

They also touched on the possibility that these changes could temporarily impact loan processing timelines, making it especially important for agents to stay informed and help set realistic expectations for their clients throughout the transaction.

🏡📚 Learning from Experience at Wallace North!
On September 16th, Wallace North agents had the opportunity to attend Mastering the Repair Proposal, an insightful class led by three of our experienced agents — Jim Dingus, Brenda Hamel, and Kevin Wilson.

During this Q&A-style session, they shared the importance of having both Buyer Consults and Listing Consults early in the process so clients understand how the home inspection and repair negotiation process works and what to expect. By preparing clients from the start, agents can help buyers feel more confident in their purchase decisions and better navigate repair requests within the contract timeframe — reducing surprises and helping keep transactions together.

🍦🎉 A Sweet Celebration at Wallace North!

We took a little time yesterday to celebrate one of our North Office Admins, Rachel Gilley, with an Ice Cream Social in honor of her birthday! 🎂🍨

We appreciate our admins for keeping Wallace North running smoothly, and we are happy to have an excuse to gather, enjoy something sweet, and celebrate them.

❤️🏡 Wallace Day of Caring at Wesley House Community Center

Today, I had the privilege of joining lots of agents from several Wallace Real Estate Offices, including Jared Thacker with CMG Financial and Jason Strickland from the North Office, as we volunteered together during the Wallace Day of Caring at Wesley House Community Center.

A very special thank you to Porschia Pickett, Executive Director of Wesley House, for taking the time to give us a tour before we got to work. It was wonderful to learn more about the many thoughtful ways Wesley House encourages, supports, and invests in the children they serve.

From the inspirational quotes throughout the classrooms, to a library where children get to keep the books they choose, to the Red Bird Bookstore, where children can earn points through good behavior and good deeds and then use those points toward some pretty exciting rewards — even bicycles! 🚲📚❤️ — there was so much to appreciate.

After volunteering, members of the Wallace Professionals Network gathered at Dead End BBQ to enjoy lunch, continue the fellowship, and spend a little more time networking together. It was a great way to wrap up a meaningful morning of service and connection.

Experiences like today are a wonderful reminder of how much good can happen when people invest their time and talents in their community.

Wallace North agents recently had the opportunity to learn more about Choice Home Warranty during an informative training session led by Maryann Azambuja.

Maryann walked our agents through Seller Coverage as well as the three tiers of Buyer Coverage, helping them better understand the different home warranty options available to their clients throughout a real estate transaction.

What a fun evening at Pins & Pints for our August Wallace Professionals Network Meet-Up! 🎉

Agents from several Wallace offices came together for an evening of networking, sharing ideas, catching up, and plenty of laughs — with a little friendly competition thrown in during a few games of darts 🎯 and pinball! 🕹️

I always enjoy seeing our Wallace professionals connect beyond their individual offices. These meet-ups are such a great opportunity to build relationships, exchange ideas, and simply enjoy time together. ❤️
