Our talented residents are already diving headfirst into this beautiful art form. They will soon be creating custom door decor, heartfelt gifts, and so much more.Take a close look at the photos from today's class. You can truly see the incredible focus and concentration written all over their faces! 🪵✍️Learning a craft like pyrography is about so much more than just the final product. It is a deeply rewarding sensory experience:Touch: Feeling the textures of the raw wood grains and the steady warmth of the tool.Smell: Enjoying the rich, nostalgic aroma of toasted wood filling the room.Focus: Engaging the mind and refining fine motor skills through precise, deliberate movements.We are so proud of our residents for stepping up to challenge themselves with this unique, multi-sensory skill. We cannot wait to see the beautiful masterpieces they create in the weeks to come!

These creative women did an absolutely beautiful job crafting this festive arrangement. The Museum Of Appalachia never disappoints. Prime West Knoxville residents went for the Museum and ate lunch. Pat who is new to the region learned about Norris Dam and they went on a scenic drive through Norris State Park enjoying ice cream.
