We are excited to spotlight Associate Advisor and Hospitality Specialist, Sheev Patel.

Sheev first joined SVN | Wood Properties as an intern in 2020 while studying Retail Consumer Science at the University of Tennessee. With a strong passion for real estate, he quickly transitioned into the role of Associate Advisor and began working on transactions while completing his degree.

Since entering the industry, Sheev has developed a specialized focus in hospitality and has been involved in over $60 million hospitality transactions. His experience includes the planned AC Hotel and Moxy by Marriott developments in Downtown Knoxville. Combining his industry expertise with a passion for the continued growth and improvement of East Tennessee, Sheev works to help bring impactful hospitality developments to the region.

Knox News reports that the City of Knoxville has selected a developer to move forward on plans for the redevelopment of the McClung Warehouse site.

For years, the site on Jackson Avenue has represented one of Downtown Knoxville’s most visible redevelopment opportunities. The former warehouses were destroyed by fires in 2007 and 2014. The City purchased the lot in 2023 and has since worked to prepare the property for its next chapter. Plans were discussed for a mixed-use development with a significant housing component to meet Knoxville’s surging housing demand.

This is what makes watching Knoxville's growth so exciting. Properties that once sat vacant or underutilized are becoming opportunities to add housing, businesses, entertainment, and new connections to the downtown community.
