"It's a newer home so I don't need a sewer scope."
About that....
This "newer home" has a rebar stake driven straight through the main waste line below a retaining wall. This has cracked the pipe and caused roots to start growing inside. The repair for this issue will cost over $5,000 - and that doesn't include re-building the portion of the retaining wall that has to be removed to make the repair.
Our client spent less than $400 for this service and it revealed a repair that will cost thousands.
If you think sewer scopes are only for "old homes", think again. We find issues like this routinely on houses considered "newer".
