The Big Kahuna Labor Day Festival is back at Worldโ€™s Fair Park on Sunday, Sept. 6, with wings, live music, family activities and fireworks to wrap up the night.

Fairs are coming back to the area! ๐ŸŽก
The Sevier County Fair runs Sept. 1โ€“7, so it could be a fun little Labor Day weekend road trip from Knoxville.
Rides, animals, fair food, exhibits, contests โ€” basically all the things that make a county fair feel like a county fair.
And honestly, everyone has a favorite part.
What are you heading for first: the rides, the animals, or the fair food?

Dolly Parton meant so much to East Tennessee โ€” not just through her music, but through her kindness, generosity and the way she never forgot where she came from.

From the Smoky Mountains to stages around the world, her impact is hard to put into words.

My thoughts and prayers are with her family, and everyone who was ever touched by Dolly!

Blount Mansion dates back to 1792, which makes it more than 230 years old.
That means this house was standing before Tennessee was even a state.
It was home to William Blount, governor of the Southwest Territory, and has been sitting there through generations of Knoxville history.

Pretty wild for a place a lot of us have probably driven past without giving it much thought.
