What a wonderful celebration we shared with our amazing gentlemen and their families! Our Father’s Day Brunch was filled with delicious food, refreshing mimosas, beautiful decorations, and plenty of "Dad Jokes." The dining room looked incredible, creating the perfect setting for a morning of celebration.

🇺🇸🎶 A Patriotic Afternoon of Music & History 🎶🇺🇸

This past Wednesday, Sherrill Hills had the pleasure of welcoming Professor Ryan Villaverde for an inspiring lecture on the rich history of patriotic music in America. We enjoyed learning the stories behind many of our nation’s most beloved songs, discovering how music has united, inspired, and shaped our country’s history through generations. It was an engaging and educational afternoon that left everyone with a deeper appreciation for the music that celebrates our nation’s heritage. A heartfelt thank you to Professor Ryan Villaverde for sharing his knowledge and passion with our community. We look forward to welcoming him back to Sherrill Hills!

🌴☀️ Beach Party Blast at Sherrill Hills! ☀️🌴 What an incredible way to kick off the summer! Residents enjoyed a lively performance by Frank & Friends in the theater, followed by Sunset Sips in the Lounge, where everyone sampled favorite summer-inspired cocktails and refreshing mocktails, with great conversation and island vibes. The celebration continued with a delicious beach-themed dinner prepared by Chef Brandan and the culinary team, set against a backdrop of tropical flowers, colorful leis, beach décor, and plenty of smiling faces dressed for the occasion. Here’s to an unforgettable summer at Sherrill Hills!

This past Sunday, the Sherrill Hills community gathered for a meaningful Flag Day Ceremony to retire the old flag, raise a new one, and honor the brave men and women who have served our country. Following the ceremony, residents, families, and guests enjoyed a patriotic reception filled with fellowship, refreshments, and music. Thank you to everyone who joined us and to The Smokyland Sound Barbershop Chorus for lending their talents for us to enjoy! But of course, our biggest “THANKS!” goes to our veterans—thank you for your service and sacrifice.

This summer, residents will journey across America without leaving their seats as we explore a new region of the country every other week. Our first stop is the beautiful Lowcountry, where we’ll discover the rich history, charming towns, delicious cuisine, and unique culture that make this coastal region so special. Where will the road take us next? Stay tuned as our adventure continues!

What a wonderful way to kick off June at Sherrill Hills! We enjoyed a special movie night featuring The Music Man, followed by an engaging lecture from Dr. Broadway that brought the beloved classic to life. From fascinating behind-the-scenes stories to the rich history of Broadway, it was an entertaining and educational experience for all. A big thank you to Dr. Broadway for sharing her passion and helping us rediscover one of the most cherished musicals!
