⛰️🌸 Gatlinburg, TN
(My Personal Picks!) 🌲
If you’re planning a trip to Gatlinburg, here are some spots I’d absolutely put on your list 👇
• Ober Mountain (Fam Fav)
Ride the tram up the mountain and spend the day—alpine slide, mountain coaster, tubing… there’s a little bit of everything up there.
• Anakeesta
We didn’t get to go this time, but I visited a few years back and it was SO worth it. They’ve added even more since then, so if you can, bump this to the top of your list and grab tickets ahead of time!
• Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies
The kids loved the underwater tunnel. Walking through while sharks and sea turtles swim overhead is such a cool experience and the adults also loved this.
• Great Smoky Mountains National Park
One of the best parts about Gatlinburg? You’re right next to this incredible (and FREE!) national park. Whether you hike, drive, or just take in the views you can’t skip it. We love driving up to Cades Cove.
• Gatlinburg SkyPark
If you’re not afraid of heights, this is a must. The SkyBridge views are unreal, and the chairlift ride up is half the fun. Perfect photo spot too!
• Best Italian Café & Pizzeria
Casual, family-friendly, and super budget-friendly. Think pizza, pasta, and those garlic knots you won’t stop eating.
• Ripley’s Motion Blaster
This one is interactive and a little more high-energy great for older kids or anyone who likes arcade-style fun.
• Hillbilly Mini Golf
A classic Gatlinburg activity. Easy, fun, and perfect for a laid-back evening.
• The Village Shops
This area is SO cute it honestly feels like you stepped into a little European town. Great for strolling, shopping, and grabbing a snack. The donut friar is delicious 😋
• The Crazy Mason Milkshake Bar
Come hungry 😂 The milkshakes are over-the-top in the best way. I tried one loaded with caramel, chocolate, and all the extras… definitely shareable (but you might not want to).

If you want help planning a Gatlinburg trip (or pairing it with Pigeon Forge or a cabin stay 👀), I’ve got you!
