Our new partnership with the KARM Aftercare program and Two Rivers Church of Bearden is to bring a biweekly Community Gatherings event onsite. We have had 38 new residents come from KARM since September 2025 that need a program targeting their specific needs and challenges to be successful living independently. The objective is to foster and nurture a safe/healthy community within the complex and of course is open to all residents. This will be accomplished by utilizing movies, games, life skills education, arts & crafts and of course snacks! The first gathering was held yesterday and was a great success! The movie shown was called "The Butterfly Circus" which teaches the lesson that everyone has the power to change their life if they are willing to put in the effort! Excited to see what the future holds for this program and its impact on the wonderful residents of Morningside!
