Oh, Dolly! 🤣😂 Just when you think you couldn’t possibly love her any more, along comes a clip like THIS!

Today we’re featuring the one and only Dolly Parton alongside her dear friend Kenny Rogers as she hilariously performs a little number called “Drag Annette” and tells Kenny he might just want to record this one! 🎤🤣

Y’all, this clip is LESS THAN 28 SECONDS LONG, but I promise it’ll have you laughing for HOURS! 😂

🎬 Here’s a little Dolly history for ya! “Drag Annette” was featured as part of a comedy skit during Dolly and Kenny’s 1985 Real Love concert special, filmed in Portland, Oregon, on April 13, 1985! Just two legendary entertainers having a little fun together, and we’re still laughing more than 40 years later! 🤣❤️

And here’s another amazing Dolly fact! Despite never learning to read or write traditional sheet music, Dolly wrote HUNDREDS of songs throughout her extraordinary career! 🎼💕 She didn’t need to put notes on a staff to create musical magic!

✨ What Would Dolly Do Wednesday ✨

We’re feeling a little nostalgic today, so we’re turning the clock back to 1970 and The Porter Wagoner Show for a beautiful performance of one of Dolly Parton’s most beloved songs, “Coat of Many Colors.” 🧵🌈💕

Dolly wrote the song about a very real childhood memory — her mother sewing her a coat from colorful scraps of fabric and telling her the biblical story of Joseph and his coat of many colors. Dolly proudly wore it to school, only to be teased by the other children because her family was poor.

But in true Dolly fashion, she turned that painful memory into something beautiful: a reminder that love can make you richer than money ever could. ❤️

Fun fact: Dolly has said she wrote “Coat of Many Colors” while traveling with Porter Wagoner and, with no paper handy, scribbled the lyrics on the back of a dry-cleaning receipt! 📝

More than 50 years later, this song still feels like Dolly in its purest form — humble beginnings, family, faith, kindness, and finding beauty in what you’ve been given. 🥹🌈
