Homeland Inc. is seeking to hire a part-time general Maintenance technician responsible for performing upkeep tasks & other duties as needed for a newly built apartment complex located in Kodak, TN. 16 HRS Per Work Week. The ideal candidate will apply the basic fixes to equipment and building systems and ensure facilities are tidy and functional. Being reliable with a keen eye for detail is the first step to getting this job. The ideal candidate will have experience and solid technical knowledge. You must possess manual dexterity and physical stamina. Must be very dependable and have own transportation.

Responsibilities
• Perform cleaning activities such as dusting, mopping, etc.
• Perform minor fixes such as changing lightbulbs & blinds, filling gaps on walls, minor touch-up paint, etc.
• Check control panels to identify issues
• Inspect and troubleshoot equipment (e.g. ventilation, piping, electric)
• Check functionality of safety systems (e.g. fire alarm)
• Collaborate with workers and other professionals during renovations
• Report to facilities manager for issues.
Skills
• Basic knowledge of cleaning supplies & use
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems (Not required but preferred)
• Experience using hand and electrical tools & safety
• Ability to read technical manuals, drawings, & following directions
• Very good communication and interpersonal skills
• Physical stamina and dexterity
• High school diploma or equivalent
