Okay, I’m exaggerating, kind of. 🤣
Zillow uses sales data to come up with your “Zestimate” but what they can’t factor in are things like the view, traffic noise, intimate community knowledge, changes in the local work force like a company leaving town or coming to town.
In other words the “Zestimate” is a 50,000 foot view of your homes value. ✈️
Having your local agent help you price your home is like looking under a microscope at the value of your home. 🔬
Don’t leave these things to chance. Now is not the time to be inaccurate about pricing. Correct pricing is going to dictate whether your home sits on the market or gets multiple-over asking offers.

Dear Daughter,
Has anyone ever told you that you can’t do something because you are a girl❓Well I’m please to inform you that because you are a girl you can do anything. 😍
My dearest wish and prayer for you is that you would never be defined or boxed in by your gender, your race, your religion or where you come from but rather that the world would see you as I do.
A fearfully and wonderfully made one of a kind, never to be repeated again, child of God.
That the world would treasure your unique laugh, your sense of humor, the kindness you give willingly.
That they would appreciate the particular shade of your eyes, the deep questions you ask and the way your arms feel wrapped around my neck and the sweet tickle of your breath as you whisper, “I love you Mommy”.
And that as you grow and mature that the world would look at you as an equal contributor to the love that makes this planet go round. 🌎 And fully appreciate you for YOU.

Small hinges swing big doors. 🤩
I was listening to this speaker the other day and he was saying that when we decide to make changes in our lives it can feel a bit defeating because we don’t see the fruits of our efforts right away.
The example he used was going to the gym. Day one: nothing. Day two: nothing. Day three: nothing. But spend a 100 days in the gym and you won’t recognize the person in the mirror. CONSISTENCY OVER INTENSITY.
I embarked on a fitness journey in May 2023. I’ve always exercised but I was ready to take it to the next level. And so I joined Stand Firm CrossFit in Granby and this decision has been life changing.
My goals were to become stronger, more flexible, more fit and care for my body and mind like never before. And all those things are happening. 🎯
But the biggest change I wasn’t expecting was the mental changes that happened within. I have learned to “embrace the suck”. I can keep going when I want to stop. And I am teaching my girls, through example, that they can do hard things, just like their mama.
I have made some amazing friends along the way which is just the icing on top! And the biggest bonus, this is a family affair. All four of us participate in CrossFit in some way or another. Me, Bill and Lizzy in the workouts and Ashley is the offical gym babysitter untill she is old enough to join in.
And now to this photo with Tori.
Before I joined Stand Firm my last rope climb was in middle school…. And I wasn’t that good at it, even back then.
Rope climb is HARD! It takes strength and technique. During yesterday’s workout I successfully climbed the rope 14 times in between riding the assault bike (it’s called that for a reason) and rowing machine. That’s a huge milestone for me and I’m so excited to have reached this goal.
At almost 50 years old I had forgotten what it feels like to be new at something. I had forgotten what it feels like to deserve a gold star. And these past 11 months have been a great reminder that we should never stop learning or striving for our goals.

The other day Ashley was passionately trying to “pitch” Elizabeth and I on one of her ideas. I could tell she was getting frustrated. 😖
In exasperation she threw up her hand and said: “for the Pete of sake”!
Elizabeth and I just stopped and looked at her! What did you say?!? Its not quite like that we explained. 😝
So then she said “for the sake of Pete”? 🤪
Oh my girl! I love how the mind of a child will try and make up the gaps with creativity and intuition.
She knew she was close, but no cigar this time. But she kept trying for Pete’s sake!

It’s the only place you’ve lived every day of your life. It’s carried you through heartbreak, laughter, injury, rest, rebirth. It holds your memories, your emotions, your future.
But if you don’t take care of your body… where will you live?
Not from guilt.
Not from perfectionism.
But from reverence.
You don’t need to fix your body to love it.
