Best Mother’s Day gift ever. ❤️🐾😂
Seventeen years ago, we rescued two scruffy little sisters off the streets of Fontana, CA, and honestly… they’ve been running our lives ever since. As long as I can remember, I’ve always wondered what breeds Hannah and Ella actually are. Every time someone asked, we’d give our best guess like miniature golden retriever/miniature Rottweiler, Corgi/Doxie mix-completely making things up as we go. 😂
This year, my husband gave me a DNA kit for Mother’s Day so we can finally solve the mystery of what our sweet girls are made of. And if you know me, you know this is basically our version of a family ancestry report. 🤣
We’ve never been able to have children, so our four-legged babies have always been so much more than pets to us. They are our babies, our shadows, our little protectors, and the queens of our household.
Sadly, we lost Ella a little over a year ago, and not a day goes by that we don’t miss her. I know getting these answers now will feel extra special because a piece of her will always be with us. ❤️
I’m so thankful for a husband who knows my heart so well and for two little rescue sisters who went from surviving the streets to becoming completely spoiled couch princesses for the last 17 years. 🐾😂 Now let’s find out if these girls were 2% chihuahua and 98% attitude all along.
