A few more captures from our trip to the Pacific NW / Northern WA. Many thanks to Dennis and Brenda for their hospitality, generosity, and stellar tour guide skills. So much to see and experience, so little time, and we were there for 10 days. Water, thick forests with fern covered grounds, and spectacular vistas everywhere. I was awestruck. Looking forward to another visit.

It was my honor to be there for you the way you were always there for me. It was my honor to care for you the way you cared for me through the years. I know the last year is not what you anticipated and I admire you for stepping through it all with strength and grace.

Your passing has left a tremendous void and many heavy hearts, but from that pain comes the beautiful memories, stories, laughter, and a look back at a wonderful and full life.

It is said that Hummingbirds have a spiritual significance and can mean the spirit of a loved one is near. I hope the hummingbirds helped you to the other side and that you’re now dancing with dad.
