n the way the business is practiced, how we represent the interests of our clients and simply live our lives, they can be mind boggling. For me they have been a lifelong learning experience that I can put into practice so I can simply do my job better. I admit to being old fashioned in the sense that personal hands on client service comes first. Technology can make things more efficient of course but it cannot replace a face to face hands on conversation. The purchase or sale of real estate, especially single family homes is an intensely personal experience no matter what walk of life you come from. Part of my job is to make that experience as smooth and comfortable as I can, during the sale of your home (or in the whirlwind process of house hunting), contract negotiations, inspections, loan and escrow processes, to be there for my clients with every step of the process, representing their interests as if they were my own, when I am needed and stand aside when I am not. The other part of my job is to help my clients understand and interpret the documents involved in their real estate transaction, their responsibilities therein and those of all the other parties involved. Each and every transaction is different in one way or another. My goal is to try and make this a fun and rewarding experience for my clients. It doesn’t always work out that way as the transactions are not conducted in a vacuum. There are lots of other parties involved and everyone’s priorities are not the same. I’m proud to say that my batting average is way above the norm with my clients achieving their goals, whatever they may have been, based in large on my after closing surveys. For the last 5 years running our company has hired two independent firms to get honest answers to the service provided and to date I have gained a 100% satisfaction rating.
