Hey Everyone,
Coulee Junk Removal has officially been in business for two years! For those who are new here, I want to take the opportunity to introduce myself and share the impact we are trying to make.
My name is Brock Borchardt, and I grew up in Hillsboro, WI. Two and a half years ago, I was working a 9-to-5 job with a local contractor in La Crosse. It was enjoyable, but I knew I wanted more. Starting a business and helping the community had always been interests of mine. In May 2024, I left my 9-to-5 and started Coulee Junk Removal with my wife, Rachel. To many people, this probably seemed random or even foolish, but to my inner circle, it made perfect sense.
My dad, Bruce, was our first employee. His selfless personality wouldn’t allow him to accept a paycheck for the first two months. Once he realized this wasn’t just another one of my random ideas, he gladly accepted one. Plus, I worked him to the bone while he juggled helping me and working another job. Next, my brother, Bronson, joined the madness and made a huge impact on both the junk removal and demolition sides of the business. Calling us a family-owned business is an understatement! My mom even jumped in on a few jobs over the weekends just to help us out — and she’s a nurse practitioner.
Through all the chaos, constant learning curves, and growing pains, it has been amazing building this company with my wife. We are each other’s “hype man” on the tough days. We’re never both down at the same time — one of us always lifts the other up.
Over the past two years, we have slowly built an incredible team of people who truly care about the vision of our company: a company that cares about its customers and provides an amazing experience every time. Our goal is to be the local company you can trust to handle your project. Whether it’s junk removal or demolition, our team is here to help.
