La Crosse area rental company seeking an individual to complete assigned maintenance activities, including repairs to structures, apartment units, grounds (as required), amenities and any other facilities that are a part of the property under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor and Maintenance Manager. Are willing to train if needed.
Required Skills:
General repairs, electrical systems, and mechanical systems, structural and plumbing knowledge.
Duties and responsibilities: (may include)
-Remove and install, frame, service, or repairs of both interior and exterior doors as well as windows.
-Drywalling, taping, mudding, and painting.
-Perform minor repairs to electrical systems, including fixtures, covers, breakers, wiring, etc.
-Repairs to structural items, including floors, ceilings, woodwork, cabinets, windows, doors, etc.
-Minor plumbing repairs, including sinks, toilets, drains, and faucets.
-General repairs, including locks, latches, curtain rods, and blinds.
-Apartment turnovers, all aspects including light maintenance, painting, cleaning, and general work to make the apartment ready for new tenants.
-Respond to rotating after hours emergency maintenance calls.
Requirements/Qualifications:
-Ability to work independently on assigned tasks, as well as accept direction on given assignment.
-Self-motivated
-Ability to lift and/or move objects up to 75 pounds consistently
-Must have own vehicle and a valid driver’s license.
Job Type: Full or Part-time
Monday- Friday, 9am-5pm
