I was raised on a farm in Cove, Oregon, graduated from La Grande High School, and received my bachelor's degree in English from Eastern Oregon University. I joined RE/MAX Real Estate Team in 2012 as the office manager and quickly developed an interest in real estate. Since earning my license in 2013, I have sought out several educational opportunities to improve my ability to serve my clients. I h

My husband and I have two children, a boy, and a girl who we spend countless hours chasing around to baseball and softball games, wrestling tournaments, dance classes, and music lessons. We enjoy camping, travel, water sports, hiking, winter sports, and spending quality time with family and friends, and we consider ourselves abundantly blessed to call Eastern Oregon our home. Community involvement is vastly important to me, and I currently serve as a member of the County Planning Commission, I am the Vice President of the EOU Alumni Board of Directors, and I serve on the La Grande Mainstreet Design Committee. Having spent a lifetime developing a deep love for all things Union County, I relish the opportunity to share my enjoyment of this area with my fellow community members and community members-to-be!

First, a lack of transactional knowledge could give represented buyers an advantage when negotiating repairs and closing costs. It’s important to have someone advocating for you.

Second, establishing value is VITAL in this market. Zillow’s algorithms haven’t see the comparable homes it’s using to give your estimate of value.

Skipping a real estate agent to save on commission often costs buyers and sellers far more in the long run, experts warn. The median home sold through an agent last year fetched $435,000, compared to $380,000 for FSBO sales, a $55,000 difference. Even after paying agent commissions of $13,000 to $26,000, sellers still come out ahead by at least $29,000.

"This is the biggest financial decision of your life," says broker Michelle Mumoli. "Don't go looking for discounts on professionals; you'll get discount service that'll cost you a lot more."

I don’t make decisions based on some magic number of days.

I watch the market. And the market talks.

In those first couple weeks, I’m paying attention to:
• How many showings we’re getting compared to similar homes
• How many people are saving it or reaching out
• What buyers are actually saying (and whether it’s consistent)
• If we’re making short lists… or getting skipped

If other homes like yours are moving and we’re not building momentum, that’s not bad luck. That’s positioning.

And here’s the part sellers don’t always love to hear: the longer a home sits without real engagement, the more negotiating power shifts away from you.

Price adjustments aren’t emotional. They’re not panic moves.
They’re smart, strategic corrections.

The market doesn’t take months to send signals.
It sends them fast — you just have to know how to read them.

And that’s where my unique understanding of pricing, negotiations, and the market come in.
