Every detail in this bakery was designed with intention. One of our favorite moments is the custom sourdough bow knife feature wall—a tribute to the chef and his father, who used to make the knives together. We wanted to honor that tradition by weaving it into the design, pairing it with a curated collection of wooden cutting boards and a custom marmarino venetian plaster finish that adds warmth, depth, and beautiful texture to the space.

Taking it back to the beginning of Bad Butter, where we curated the material palette behind our Earthbound Industrial aesthetic.
Every finish was selected with intention—from the warmth of rich walnut and light oak to the raw character of industrial metals, the handcrafted texture of Marmorino plaster, the bold statement of Dekton surfaces, and pops of deep greenery that breathe life into the space.
