Born and raised in La Jolla, California, I have extensive knowledge of the La Jolla and all of San Diego County. With 14 years of experience as a Realtor and 17 years in the industry, I have dedicated much of my time to helping clients navigate the San Diego and La Jolla real estate markets. San Diego: With a 9.5% increase in closed sales and 4.4% increase in median sales price compared to one year ago, the market remains strong. Many homes are selling for over asking price when priced and marketed well.🏙️

La Jolla: Summer is in full swing with a 42% increase in closed sales, however we noticed a decrease in median sales price compared to one year ago. With the broad range of homes here, each specific neighborhood should be evaluated🌊

We have found that for over 70% of homeowners, the answer is no. Ideally, many would like more space, an extra bedroom, upgraded features, a better location, etc.

What most people don’t realize is that the equity built inside their current home may already allow them to sell and upgrade into something significantly better, often while keeping their monthly payment surprisingly close to where it is today.
