San Diego’s housing market is showing encouraging signs of stabilization as buyers and sellers adjust to today’s realities. Contract cancellations have decreased, price reductions are becoming less frequent, and motivated buyers are finding ways to move forward despite mortgage rate challenges. While negotiations, seller credits, and creative financing strategies remain important parts of many transactions, demand is still being driven by real-life events such as job relocations, growing families, and lifestyle changes.

One Step at a Time

While sorting through some old paperwork recently, I came across a list of goals I wrote down when I was just beginning my real estate career.

As I read through them, I realized something really cool: every single goal on that list has come true.

Not because it happened overnight. Not because the path was always easy. But because of the small, consistent steps taken day after day, year after year.

Looking back, I’m filled with gratitude—for the discipline to keep going, the motivation to keep learning, and the determination to keep moving forward even when the finish line seemed far away.

It’s a reminder that big dreams are rarely achieved in giant leaps. They’re built one day at a time, one step at a time.
