Born and raised in Oslo, Norway and fluent in Norwegian, her passion for traveling started after a year in Costa Rica becoming a Dive Master and learning some Spanish. Janicke Swanson earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business & Marketing from the University of Western Australia. She believes that strong marketing, multi-channel media including luxury photography and video, timely and honest communication, and utilizing the latest technology, helps to ensure that sellers get the best exposure and price point for their home. She has over the last 20 years in the real estate industry, formed lifelong friendships and helped countless clients achieve their real estate goals. As a certified Relocation Specialist, Janicke Swanson works with BHHS’ relocation team to help corporate clients that are new to the area adapt to their surroundings. Not only does she help buyers find the right home, but she also goes the extra mile to provide information about schools, neighborhoods, and anything else that makes a family feel comfortable in their new community. Janicke Swanson gives a portion of all her sales commissions earned to the Charitable Foundation which provides hundreds of grants to local organizations in San Diego, Orange County, and Los Angeles that promote health, education, community, growth, and environment.
