Happy birthday to me💖🎂

As I reflect on the past year, I realize it was quite a journey.
Through my determination and following my gut that something wasn’t right, I discovered I had DCIS, or stage 0 breast cancer. By the grace of God, we caught it early, although it still led to three surgeries and 19 rounds of radiation.

I’m grateful to say that I am doing very well. My recovery has been slow but steady. The most beautiful part of this experience has been the unwavering support from my family and incredible friends. Without my asking, they rallied around me in their unique ways, providing care and comfort.

I had considered sharing a video with pictures of this journey but I’ve hesitated, still weighing what to reveal on this platform. However, I feel compelled to share these core lessons:

1. Trust your instincts; God is speaking to you.

2. Allow those who love you to support you as you do for them.

3. Life is not about grand celebrations, but about genuinely enjoying and cherishing every moment with your loved ones. Wrinkles and some aches may come, but being alive and healthy is a true blessing. Embrace and appreciate it.

4. I’ve learned that I am a quiet, happy, grateful warrior. I am incredibly blessed, but that doesn’t mean I haven’t faced my share of challenges.

It’s okay; we all have our battles. We navigate through our difficulties, striving to learn valuable lessons and emerge stronger on the other side. I am definitely more grateful and appreciative of the moments spent with my loved ones.

So, happy birthday to me!
I extend my heartfelt thanks to my fierce support circle—my incredible family, my beautiful friends, and especially my boys who have been by my side, guarding my rest and cheering me on to get stronger.

Thank you, God. Thank you, life. Cheers to many more healthy and well lived years 🥂🎂

To say we postponed this toast 5 times is maybe not enough 😅😂🙈 Life has certainly thrown some curveballs our way. When we set yet another date (for today) Lauren said: Ema!!! Guess what day is June 10th?? It’s our 2 year “Landaversarie”!!!
So it was meant to be…
I met Lauren maybe 4-5 years ago -Through instagram, I might add. She and her lovely husband Joe hired me on the spot to help them find a home. 2.5 years later we ended up closing on an awesome lot in Bay Ho.
Today Lauren shared with me the plans that they submitted to the city and the renderings of the amazing home they will finally get to build. It’s beyond gorgeous and she has done the majority of the work herself. As I told her: I’m not surprised you pulled this off but certainly VERY IMPRESSED!!!! It’s going to be out of this world!!! I can’t wait for it to be all built, for them to enjoy this masterpiece and of course, for us to toast on that spectacular terrace. 🥂🥂🥂😎

It’s official, this gorgeous condominium in Downtown San Diego has switched owners and I couldn’t be happier for my clients who, in this case, were the SELLERS 𝒶𝓃𝒹 BUYERS!!

What an experience! It was an honor to take on this challenge and represent both parties. I’m convinced it worked in both of their favor since we had to navigate some hiccups with the appraisal process and having close communication with them was a KEY factor to resolve them and move forward. *

In the end everyone was so happy with the results, and for my sellers and myself a little bittersweet.
We met 6 years ago in this very building when they were looking for a rental property that I was showing. I then became their realtor and showed them properties in all parts of the city for two years until they purchased this beautiful condominium.
Today they sell their home to head back to Mexico, but we will forever be friends and family.
