This client and I have been through some things! She is amazing and relentless in pursuing what she wants. I’m so grateful I get to be a part of it. If you follow my stories at all you can see a theme of how much I love older homes. I love the character, charm and glimpse of the past. I had the honor of representing the buyer on this historic home. My investor has quite the project on his hands with it being historic as well as major damage from an appliance fire. I look forward to seeing how this beauty is brought back to life!

This is one of the many reasons why I do what I do. Movement. My client was a renter, I recommended she speak to a lender when she didn’t believe she could buy. In my opinion, the worst they can say is “not right now”. She did in fact buy in just over a year ago and was able to use her equity growth to purchase her dream home. This property sold for $155,000 over what she bought it for 16 months ago. She would have never had this equity growth or ability to move it, had she not had the initial conversation with my preferred lender.

Sometimes what we don’t know holds us back from the blessings on the other side of those questions we’re afraid to ask. Knowledge is power and in this case, it became her purchasing power. Can’t wait to close on her new home shortly.

Oh and side note…she decided on a Monday to sell. 4 days later it was on the market (professionally marketed) and 4 days after that it was in escrow. 🎉
