To sell or not to sell... That is the question! We are moving in to the busiest time of year for home sales. This gives buyers time for relocation to new schools, jobs, etc. Even with interest rates on the rise, the supply and demand is still on the low side. Buyers are waiting for just the right place to call home. So the answer is YES! it's time to put your house on the market!

To sell or not to sell... that's the current question for homeowners thinking about relocating.
Although prices are expected to go down 'slightly' in 2023, the home prices are still historically high, so it's still a good time to sell. Although interest rates are higher and some buyers may have been priced out of the market, there is still a shortage of homes on the market, so the buyers are still waiting to make their move.

If you're thinking about buying, now's your chance for less competition on the market, and interest rates are still going to go higher! Yes, you'll be paying more for a home than you would have if you purchased in the last 2 years, but statistics show, if you keep the home longer than 5 years, you will likely realize a gain.

Well I found out something this morning about an Opendoor listing in my neighborhood... The home was purchased by Opendoor ( one of the cut-rate brokerage online platforms) for $615,000. Opendoor has it now listed for $616,000... I know what you're thinking! Why would they do that? Doesn't seem like a good business decision to me. Other than trying to get more listings, I have no clue!
