Solomons is about to get even better. 🦀⚓

The state of Maryland just approved over $1 million to purchase waterfront property right next to the Calvert Marine Museum and the expansion plans are big.

This will include an extended boardwalk, more public green space, a marine railway for their historic vessels, and the ability to welcome larger boats to the area.

Hopefully with all this expansion the Waterside Music series will bring in some bigger and better artists. 👀

This has been in the works since 2018 and it’s finally moving forward. As someone who loves this area deeply, I love seeing investments like this happening in our backyard.
