Went by the Horseless Carriage Club of SoCal's Holiday Motor Excursion this morning. Open to 1932 and earlier stock cars although they do have an area for hot rods to park to spectate. Some really remarkable automobiles in attendance. The mechanical details on some of these are a work of art.

Maddie has been without a heater in her car for several months due to a leaking heater core (already paid to have it replaced once and it started leaking within a year). She kept asking if “we” had the tools to fix it. Decided to give her a taste of what dad has to do to fix stuff. No small job. Entire dash has to be pulled back to get access. We ran into a few snags but she helped problem solve. Now happy face with heat blowing on it.
