⚖️ COMPASS vs NWMLS!! This lawsuit is moving forward. WA agents, pay attention.

On March 19, a federal judge DENIED NWMLS’s motion to dismiss Compass’s antitrust lawsuit.

What happened:
• Compass sued NWMLS last April over rules blocking pre marketing and office exclusives
• Judge Whitehead ruled Compass has “plausible claims” under the Sherman Antitrust Act
• Compass CEO Reffkin: “NWMLS fines agents $5,000 for following their client’s marketing plan. Statutory duty is a LAW. MLS rules don’t supersede the law.”

🔥 PLUS: WA Governor signed a NEW LAW on March 16 banning Off Market listing practices takes effect June 11, 2026.
