🍺 You’ve seen it a thousand times — the mountains on a Coors can turning blue when your beer is cold.

Ever wonder who actually invented that?

Meet Terry Clayton. PhD chemist. Lakes Region local. Quiet genius.

Terry spent his career turning
molecular curiosity into real-world products — including that iconic Coors can trick. He’s designed brain-stimulating drugs that made medical journal covers, launched manufacturing plants across two continents, and trained at Harvard Business School. Now he runs his own development lab right here in New Hampshire.

On April 8, he’s sitting down with us at WORK Lakes Region to share what it really takes to go from concept to creation — and how to bring an idea to life when you don’t know where to start.

Big things are happening, and I have been WAITING to say this out loud. 🎉

Meet Taryn and Anya! Two Gilford High School seniors who are still deciding where they’re going to college but are filling their spring senior season, and have agreed to come learn the chaos of building events from the ground up with me. I don’t know how they’re doing it, but honestly? I’m taking notes.

These two are joining JMG Marketing and WORK Lakes Region as our newest interns, co-hosting events, getting a front row seat to how all of this gets built, AND plotting a social media takeover that you are going to want to be here for.

I already love them, you will too! Stop in and say hi!

Shout out to Franklin Savings Bank for joining the HOW I BUILT THIS luncheon series as the lunch sponsor for our 2026 season!!

We were so happy to spend some time with WORK Lakes Region and be their lunch sponsor for their HOW I BUILT THIS series!

This monthly series is more than just a speaker series—it’s an intimate, high-impact experience where you gain direct insights from entrepreneurs, and thoughts from leaders who have shaped our business landscape.

This month's speaker was Leslie Bryant from Bryant Paving. This program brings our community together to learn, connect, and grow—and we’re excited to support it.

🚨 THIS WEDNESDAY — and we could not be more excited.

How I Built This 2026 launches this week with Leslie Bryant, and her story is exactly the kind that reminds you why you started.
She built her company from ONE truck. No safety net. No shortcuts. Just vision, integrity, and the kind of stubbornness that turns small starts into real legacies.

Come hear how she did it — in person, over lunch, in an intimate room of 25 people who showed up to grow.

🍽️ Lunch included
