Did you know that here at Water Oak not just any outside realtor can sell your home? A real estate license is for real estate not leased land. To sell more than your own home here your agent must hold a license to sell on leased land. We have many years of experience selling homes here and two of our agents are full time residents! One agent, Brian, worked for the originally developer of the community back in the 80’s, Mel Bishop enterprises and Donna has been selling homes in and outside of this area for many years including Water Oak as she holds both a real estate license and a license for leased land. Melissa and Brian both worked for the community sales office until November of 2023 when the community decided to out source the sales office. Melissa also worked for another community owned by Sun communities and brings strong community knowledge to our team. Brian also worked in maintenance, administration and the sales office before joining the team at ReMax Foxfire. Our team has the best opportunity to sell your home, with all the support provided under the ReMax umbrella. We will even work with outside agents who don’t hold the proper license. Agents who have a strong knowledge of the community and live here is a huge benefit! We work hard 7 days a week and we don’t close down during holidays as well as every small federal holidays. We list homes on 125 customer facing websites, including Zillow, Trulia, homes etc. and Facebook! We have sold the most homes here by far and currently have 7 under contract and 1 already closed for January 2026! Because of our years of experience here, we can explain to potential clients the rules and regulations to the community. An outside agent does not understand all the rules of the community and cannot even explain some of them. A lot of time can be wasted during this process.
