I know my Slidell friends know this iconic castle but if you never drive through New Orleans East you may not know this eye catching castle exists. I used to dream of living there when I was a kid. What kid doesn't want to live in a castle?!? I was actually able to visit it one time which was cool.

Despite the bad weather this morning it was still a great day for a closing!
As one family said goodbye to the home where they raised their 3 children another family said hello to their new home where they will raise their 3 children. It’s always so fun when a home finds a great match and you know it was meant to be. 🏡
Excited for my sellers’ new adventure! 🥰

It’s amazing what a difference a week can make! Our final walk through last week was during flooding rains and the house was not quite ready for us to close on. Fast forward a week and we have blue skies and the house is empty, clean and ready for its new owners.
We do all we can do to get to the closing table on time but sometimes we have to take a deep breath and give the other party some grace and maybe even a little more time. 🏡

1 year ago I stepped through these doors and started a new chapter in my real estate career. 💙
I was craving a little consistency in work and we all know real estate is anything but consistent! 😅 Haha But I wanted something part time that would give me the consistency I craved while allowing me to still help my clients. I found the perfect blend at Coldwell Banker Trahan Real Estate Group as their administrative assistant. I’ve been able to help my fellow agents stay up to date with all of the changes in our industry, help them stay compliant with their paperwork…you know, all the stuff other people find overwhelming but that I absolutely love. 🤓
I’m also finishing my 5th year as a realtor which is kind of crazy! I’m so grateful to all of my clients and all of my fellow realtors. This has been a crazy few years but I’m excited for what’s to come for our industry. 🏡 🏠
