Fred Credeur has a passion for teaching, helping people, and making a positive impact on the lives of those he meets. Fred was born and raised in Opelousas, Louisiana and now lives in Lafayette, LA. He received his degree from the University of Louisiana, and following graduation, he began his career as a teacher and a coach. Fred took a leap of faith and started his own business, Credeur Specialt
ies, which he poured his heart into for many years. During this time, Fred's knack for attention to detail became obvious to his many customers who remained with him throughout his career in specialty services. During this time, Fred also owned and managed commercial property. Fred enjoyed working closely with his clients and being responsive to their needs. His positive outlook and underlying caring nature grew into a unique combination of empathy and expertise so essential in today's ever-evolving real estate market. Fred has extensive and invaluable experience in helping others in a service setting. For Fred, real estate was an obvious career choice as it offers an extension of his desire to help everyone he comes in contact with. Fred mindfully represents his clients to help them fulfill their property ownership dreams and goals. Fred has been a member of the St. Landry Chamber of Commerce Board, President of the Queen of Angels Church Council, President of the Opelousas Sertoma Club, and Chapter Advisor of SAE social fraternity on the UL campus. He was twice selected SAE Alumni of the year. Fred has also served on the UL Alumni Executive Board and served in the Louisiana National Guard 256th Infantry Brigade - Engineers Division. Fred Credeur enjoys meeting new people and has a love for good wine and conversation. Fred is married to his college sweetheart and has two married sons in New Orleans and Tampa, Florida. He is a proud grandfather to two little girls. He and his wife enjoy exercising, traveling, and dining out and are members of Holy Cross Catholic Church.
