But for real, things are definitely starting to shift. Mortgage interest rates for a 30-yr fixed have hit their lowest point in 3 years. Fresh inventory is popping up daily. The rain is gone (for now!)

This fall I celebrate 4 years in real estate! It’s not the sexiest milestone, but you have to renew your license every 4 years so it forces you to ask yourself, should I keep doing this?

I look a bit haggard in this photo but it encapsulates another big milestone: the sale of my first listing in Lafayette. This was a special listing for a family member who was already juggling a lot in life. This sale presented some potential challenges and stresses but we were able to get an all cash, non-contingent offer within 4 days of pre-marketing the home.

So to answer my question above, yes I’m going to keep doing this 😊 In a time with a lot of uncertainty, I think your home and the community you build around you is more important than ever. It’s a fast moving business with not much time for reflection but I feel very appreciative of everyone who has helped me in my career so far. And even more appreciation for the clients who trust me to guide them through the home selling process. Thank you for keeping me in the business for this long!
