Today, Monday, July 1, 2024, an Indiana Realtor CAN NOT show you a home unless you have signed an agreement with them.
In Indiana, starting July 1st a Realtor will not be able to tour a home without you first signing this agreement. This will be non negotiable for any real estate agent. The agreement between buyer and Realtor is a Buyers Representation Agreement. The agreement is a contract between you and the REALTOR in which you are agreeing to hire the Agent to represent you with the purchase of a home and agree to the roles, duties and responsibilities owed to you by your agent and your duties to your agent.
