Meet the 2023 Vice Chairman- Paul Brunet LHI #10325- 3rd Congressional District- Has been licensed since 2003 with the Louisiana State Board of Home Inspectors. Mr. Brunet will be celebrating 20 years as a licensed home inspector this year and his 2nd year serving on the Board.

“I am a resident of Lafayette, servicing the Acadiana area of south Louisiana as a licensed home inspector for 20 years this October. Currently serving District 3 on the Louisiana State Board of Home Inspectors. I learned home construction at an early age with my father, Douglas Brunet, who was a building contractor and eventually a home inspector. He was one of the first members appointed to this board. He impressed upon me the importance of quality work for our clients who are trusting us with one of their largest investments, their home. I am honored to be part of a group tasked with maintaining the high standards this board has developed over the years.”

On Friday, July 23, 2021, Gov. John Bel Edwards announced his appointments to the Louisiana State Board of Home Inspectors.

The Louisiana State Board of Home Inspectors’ primary objective is to protect the safety, health, property, and welfare of the general public and to promote the vigorous growth of the real estate industry in the State of Louisiana. The Board evaluates the qualifications of applicants for licensure and grants licenses to those who qualify. It establishes rules and regulations to ensure the integrity and competence of licensees.

Paul D. Brunet of Lafayette has been appointed to the Louisiana State Board of Home Inspectors. Brunet is owner of inspector at Brunet Associates and will represent the 3rdCongressional District.

Fredrick W. Williams of Stonewall has been appointed to the Louisiana State Board of Home Inspectors. Williams is owner of Quality Home Inspection and will represent the 4thCongressional District.
