Acadian Home Builders Association Over the years, AHBA has grown to become an influential association in Acadiana representing over 730 members and four parishes: Lafayette, Acadia, St.

The Acadian Home Builders Association is an organization of licensed builders and associates formed to promote professionalism and ethical business practices in providing quality housing that creates value for the homeowner and the community. Acadian Home Builders Association (AHBA) is a 501(c)(6) non-profit trade organization founded in 1960 by a group of visionary builders who saw the need to form an organization dedicated to advancing the homebuilding industry. The Acadian Home Builders Association is a chapter of the Louisiana Home Builders Association (LHBA) and the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB).
