About Aimee's work: 🎨 Rooted in the landscapes of my Louisiana upbringing, my work explores the quiet, sacred beauty of ordinary moments. Using acrylics and mixed media, I create layered compositions that reflect a deep reverence for light, memory, and stillness. Whether painting a storm-lit marsh, a magnolia in bloom, or the curve of a live oak, I’m drawn to subjects that invite pause and presence. Influenced by my grandmother and first art teacher, Aline Daigle David, I approach each piece as both reflection and tribute. In a fast-moving world, my hope is to create space for stillness — to help viewers reconnect with the wonder of what is familiar but sometimes easily missed.
