3 years in the making 🔑🏡

I met these clients at an open house 3 years ago. They were just visiting from out of town, getting ready for a work move to the Bay Area. I helped them find a rental in Walnut Creek while they got their bearings.

Fast forward to today: less than a mile from that same rental, they just closed on a beautiful townhome as the new homeowners!

Over the years I’d check in periodically, just to see how they were settling into WC. They took their time, especially when they weren’t sure if Walnut Creek was really the place, or if another part of the Bay Area might suit them better. When they were finally ready, I was so honored they came back to me🫶

We closed in 21 days, negotiated $20k under list price, and checked every single box to make this move feel right.

So grateful to be part of their journey. Cheers to new beginnings!🥂

Some new things are happening around here!🎉

I’ve officially joined Vanguard Properties. From the moment I met the team, I knew it was the right fit. Surrounded by so much knowledge and experience, plus tech that’s actually going to make my life easier! It’s a new backdrop, new resources, even more support, but I’m still me. Same energy, same hustle, same commitment to you that’s always been there. That part will never change!

None of this happens without the people who’ve trusted me over the years and you know who you are. My business is 99.9% referral-based and boy, do I feel grateful every single time I hear “I told my coworkers about you” or “I told my neighbors about you.” The late nights & long weekends, refining my systems, figuring out how to serve and take care of my people in the best possible way…Every single referral means the world to me so THANK YOU. Fresh branding photos call for a proper introduction and why not learn some really random facts about me!

✨ I’m genuinely afraid of moths. Zero spatial awareness, just flying straight at your face. No thank you.

✨ I love folding fitted sheets (Yes, really).

✨ My hair is naturally very curly and frizzy, but I blow dry it straight more often than not.

✨ First thing I do every morning: brush my teeth.

✨ Can’t stand clutter, love seeing vacuum lines in the carpet and I’ll be the one tidying up at the end of a party.

✨ Grew up in Lafayette, CA, in a musical household. My late father was a professional musician and I started playing the violin at 5, played all through high school.

✨ Also grew up in an entrepreneurial household, which explains a lot about how I operate today.

✨ Real estate is in my blood! My mom closed escrow on a home the day I was born.

✨ Played basketball my whole childhood through high school. If there’s a ball nearby, I’m picking it up to see if I still got it 😆

✨ Type A through and through: sign me up to be the organizer and I’ll bring my label maker and checklist

✨ I live in my head a lot. An overthinker for sure.

✨ A recovering people-pleaser, actively working on it.

✨ I get uncomfortable celebrating my own wins or taking a compliment. Also a work in progress.

✨ I have a sister (and best friend!) 2.5 years younger than me. We’re not twins, but most people think we are. We have similar mannerisms and sound alike.

✨ Boy mama to two amazing boys I get to call mine! 6 and 3 and crazyyyyyy

✨ My husband and I met in 2012 in Chico, married in 2017. Next April we celebrate 10 years married woah!

✨ My big personal goal is to get to our 10 year anniversary feeling and looking my best self! I’m on a health and fitness journey and I’m excited to see the progress I make.

✨I’ll be your hype woman. Genuinely love seeing my friends and family winning in life. I’ll be rooting for you and I always look for the positives in everything you do.

The one person you need to believe in you is… YOU.

This change didn’t happen overnight. But eventually, I started to block out the noise. That voice in the back of my head asking “if I do this, what would they think?”

Dang it feels SO GOOD to finally focus on myself.

Once you give yourself more love and respect, your energy shifts. Your positive energy attracts the energy you want.

Your confidence grows. You see your relationships and friendships grow. Your business eventually grows.

Don’t forget the most important appointment on your calendar is for YOU. That walk. That workout class. That appointment at the salon. That’s your time. No one needs to know.

My rambling thoughts you’re reading here (if you made it this far 😆) are just a reminder to set aside time for yourself this week. If you can’t take care of yourself, how can you care for others?

Some clients mean more than words can say. 🤍

I’ve known this family since we were little girls. Her dad was my dad’s best friend. And when we both lost our dads around the same time, life really had a way of bringing us back together.

So when she and her husband were ready to buy their first home together, the fact that she reached out to me…I won’t pretend that didn’t mean everything.

We were on the same page from day one. Through every curveball, a couple rejected offers…FINALLY…a home that had only been on the market 2 days, all 3 of us felt like we found THE ONE. Broker’s tour cancelled, beat the offer date, we moved fast and with clarity. So much trust and heart went into this and we closed in 18 days. 🔑

More than once she said “I can’t believe you do all of this.” Buying a home is one of the biggest decisions of your life and you deserve someone who will hold your hand through every single step. I’m honored to be that person to do all of this and to cheer you on always.

Okay this one was a ride! 🎢
Two wins, but really one big domino chain that all had to work together.

644 Linden Ln in Martinez? Sold over asking, multiple offers, closed in 15 days.

My sellers then became the buyers and I negotiated their next home $50K under asking AND kept their offer contingent on selling their current place. Sellers almost never go for that.

But here’s the part most people don’t see: the buyers of Linden had to sell their own home first to make any of it happen. So really it was 3 homes, 3 families, 3 agents, 3 lenders, 3 escrow teams, all lined up to the same 15 day timeline.
One piece slips and the whole thing falls apart. It didn’t. And it all came down to strategy, consistent communication and hustle!

But honestly? What I keep thinking about isn’t the numbers. It’s three families who all got to move forward into their next chapter all in the same couple of weeks. Getting to be the person who helps make that happen is the whole reason I do this!
