*THE CITY OF LAGRANGE WILL HOST TWO PUBLIC HEARINGS TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 23RD, AT 5:30PM IN CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS, 208 RIDLEY AVENUE*
1. To provide an opportunity for residents, business owners, and other community stakeholders to review a Northside LaGrange Community Revitalization Plan, which outlines strategies to address key issues such as housing, economic development, infrastructure improvements, and community safety in this study area. This public hearing will provide an opportunity to review key aspects of the plan, share feedback, and voice concerns or suggestions. Community input is essential in shaping the future of our neighborhoods, and we encourage all interested parties to participate. The proposed Northside Community Revitalization Area is situated north of downtown LaGrange, bordered to the north by Ann Bailey Way, to the east by New Franklin Road, Smith to the south, and neighborhoods off of both North Greenwood Street and Mooty Bridge Road to the West.For more information or to review a draft of this plan before the hearing please contact Director of Development Sam Craig with DASH at www.dashlagrange.org
2. To consider the following proposed action: to amend and/or recodify a select portion of the zoning ordinances of the City of LaGrange. The City code provision proposed to be amended pertains to Section 25B-35 and is specifically associated with pervious off-street parking lots potentially being permitted within certain zoning districts once specific criteria is met.
The public hearings are held pursuant to the Georgia Zoning Procedures Law (O.C.G.A. §36-66-1 et seq.) and the Code of Ordinances of the City of LaGrange.
