Jillea Dickinson-fry turns one year younger 🎉🎂🥳💛 Yep, that’s my mom!! A young 87. I took this pic at Abha after I returned to the table and she told me a young woman approached her and said, “I’m sorry to interrupt, but I just had to tell you how cool you look!” She loved that! She’s slowed down, but is still a very important force in my life. Seriously independent, and crunchy way before crunch was cool (she still wears the OLDEST Berks!, was growing sprouts in the 70s, and no Coke or Captain Crunch in our house). She’s my strongest supporter, and laughs at our silliness together. Her brothers call her “Sister”, the highlight of her childhood was mushing dogs in Alaska when they lived there for 4 years, she went back to school when I was 12 to become an RN (I can see her wearing the white hose and hat atop her beehive) and worked for the first Hospice in the US for 10 years. So happy to have you close. Love you so much Mom 💛✨🌼🎂🥳
