I stopped two visitors on the promenade and asked what they really think.

Their answer? "I like it” They remember what this street looked like before. Now they're regulars at Alessa and Fresh Produce. Coming in from Lake Forest and Rancho Santa Margarita at least once a month just for this.

They don't live here. They don't have a business here. They just love what Laguna Beach has become.

This is the character of this town. Not just the views, it's whether a place makes people want to stay and come back.
