I’ve been thinking about this a lot lately.

I have a tendency to overthink things. Sometimes I’ll feel guilty about taking a trip when business is slow, going out to dinner when there’s perfectly good food at home, or spending money on an experience when the “responsible” thing would be to save it.

There’s always that voice saying I should be working more, saving more, doing more.

But the older I get, the more I realize that life isn’t something that starts once everything is perfectly in place.

Some of my favorite memories have come from the things I could have easily talked myself out of.

I still believe in working hard, being responsible and planning for the future. But I’m also trying to get better at actually enjoying the life I’m working so hard to build.

Because someday, I have a feeling I’ll be much more grateful for the memories than the money I saved by staying home.

Ever wondered what it would be like to wake up to ocean views from your Laguna Beach condo?

A new unit just became available at 222 Arch St — and it arguably has the best view in the building.

Imagine starting your morning with coffee on the deck overlooking the Pacific, spending the afternoon at the beach or around town, and coming home to watch the sun set from your own deck.

This 2-bedroom, 2-bath condo with a 1-car garage offers the opportunity to enjoy everything that makes living in Laguna Beach so special — the ocean, the lifestyle, and a view you probably won’t get tired of.

Now available for lease.

Call or message me for more details or to schedule a private showing.

I went to school in Shafter, California. My dad still farms land out there.

So when I saw a homebuilder just get approved to put in 1,200+ new homes — directly in the path of California’s high-speed rail — I had to talk about it.

Here’s the short version: Lennar is moving forward on a massive housing community called Gossamer Grove, right where the bullet train’s approved route runs through. The city actually approved this land for development before high-speed rail was even voted on back in 2008. And after nearly two decades, $18 billion spent, and a price tag that’s ballooned from $33 billion to $128 billion, there still isn’t a single mile of track laid.

I’ve watched what this has meant for landowners out there for years — the uncertainty, the negotiations, the waiting. This story is personal.
This is just a clip. I broke down the whole thing — the money, the politics, and what it means for California real estate — in the full video on YouTube.

How to spot an agent worth referring in Laguna Beach and surrounding area.

It’s not just someone who knows the market or has hundreds of closings under their belt.

It’s the agent who knows how to protect the people you send their way.

The agent worth referring is the one who can tell when a repair is worth pushing for, when an offer needs a closer look, when the house has red flags your friend might miss, or when the best advice is, “I know you love it, but I do not think this is the one.”

You are trusting someone with your friend, your coworker, your neighbor, or your family member, and I never forget that there is a real relationship behind every name sent my way.

If a friend of yours is buying or selling in South Orange County, send them my way. I would be honored to help.

One of my favorite ways to explore Aliso Viejo and Laguna Beach 🚲🌿

Belle and I hopped on the bike and cruised one of our favorite local trails—taking in the rolling hills, exploring one of my favorite gated communities in Aliso Viejo, Canyon View Estates, and finishing up at the Aliso and Wood Canyons Wilderness Park Visitor Center.

This is one of the things I love most about living here. You can leave your neighborhood and, within minutes, feel like you’re miles away from Orange County suburbia. Miles of trails, beautiful canyons, mountain biking, hiking, and Laguna Beach just over the hill.

And getting to explore it all with Belle makes it even better.

Real estate is about more than the house—it’s about the lifestyle that comes with it.

👀 I see you...

But seriously, living in Coastal Orange County is truly the best decision.

1) That moment you realize your “quick walk” turned into a full-on staircase workout (and you’re somehow happier for it).
2) Knowing exactly which beach access to take depending on the tide, the crowds, and your mood—locals don’t gatekeep, we just… casually don’t mention it.
3) The unspoken rule that every errand is better with a detour down PCH and a sunset check (strictly for quality control).

So, if someone sent this to you and you’re just a little bit curious about life in Laguna Beach, Dana Point etc etc...

Comment “GUIDE” below and I’ll send over my free Relocation Guide to help you find the right place to live based on budget, schools, and lifestyle.

A great investment doesn’t just appreciate… it attracts great tenants, too.

You might remember this home from about a year ago when I helped my clients purchase it as an investment. Well, we just listed it for lease, and within no time it was under contract with multiple applications.

When you combine Big Canyon golf course views overlooking Big Canyon, one of Newport Beach’s most desirable locations, and access to exceptional schools, demand tends to take care of itself.

Helping my clients build long-term wealth through real estate is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do. Excited for them to see this investment continue to perform.

Thinking about buying an investment property? Let’s chat.
