Dear Residents,
According to the Children’s Defense Fund, more than 10 million children—nearly 1 in 7 (14.4 percent)—lived in poverty in 2019, the most recent year for which U.S. Census Poverty Data is available. With schools reopening after the COVID-19 pandemic, we have a way to help!
To help bring school supplies to local children in need this year, Equity Residential is supporting The United Way through our campaign, Equity Has Your Back. Through this, we will be collecting school supplies virtually from our communities.
Equity Has Your Back will be launching on July 11th and running through July 31st . We will be collecting donations for our market’s local school children through an Amazon Wishlist. All donations will be sent to Sonterra Apartments in Foothill Ranch and United Way will pick up all donations for distribution.
