In honor of National Rescue Dog Day we'd like to introduce Roxie! Roxie is waiting patiently (and freshly bathed we might add) at Lake City Humane Society her furever family! Here's some info on our favorite shelter girl💞🐾
Roxie is a 3yo owner surrender by no fault of her own. It doesn't matter why, only that her previous owners loved her enough to seek help from LCHS in finding the perfect home for her. They couldn't say kinder things about Roxie and we happen to agree! A few things about this special girl...
🐾 Roxie is 3yo Rottie mix who is spayed, UTD on vaccines, and HW negative
🐾 she is super sweet and a leaner... she just wants to be with you💗
🐾she loves walks! She does pull a little at first, but settles in nicely
🐾she is very smart and treat motivated.. she already knows sit and would be a great dog for obedience training
🐾 She loves to run and play!! Roxie has been around children, although not lived full time with them. We feel like with her age and activity level, Roxie would do best in a home with older kids.
🐾Roxie does love people, but is a little shy at first, so slow intros are a must... she also LOVES the ladies, so if there are any single women wanting a furever BFF, she is your girl!
🐾 She was housebroken in her previous home, so should settle back into that nicely
🐾 Roxie can be dog selective. She prefers male dogs over females. A meet and greet is a must. She loves to go on walks with Dasher, another pup here who happens to be Roxie's neighbor at LCHS!
