On a recent early morning fishing trip on the 14 mile bank. Most of the fishing was at over 600 feet deep so I used my newer electric reel that makes winding up the fish plus over a pound of weight much easier. We encountered heavy swells once we got to the fishing area which made keeping my balance while bringing in a fish difficult..
All in all it was a fun day out in the salt air.

Early morning visitor on this fine sunny day in SoCal. I have had a family of bluebirds as my feeder for over a year now. They will even eat mealworms out of my hand.
