FIRST ON FOX: Trump secures permanent U.S. military rights in Greenland, barring China and Russia from the Arctic island.

The sweeping agreement reached this week with Denmark and Greenland gives the U.S. permanent access, basing and overflight rights — plus the ability to build new military installations without needing approval from Denmark or Greenland. The deal has no expiration date and is designed to survive even if Greenland eventually becomes an independent country.

Marco Rubio’s White House role is now permanent.
President Trump has made Rubio the permanent national security advisor, formalizing the role he has held on an interim basis since May 2025 while continuing to serve as secretary of state.
That makes Rubio only the second person in U.S. history to hold both positions at the same time, following Henry Kissinger in the 1970s.
