We would like to wish all of our Birdsong Real Estate clients another blessed & happy holiday season for you and your loved ones. It is hard to believe we are halfway through another decade that has seen remarkable changes across all facets of life. We are proud and greatly appreciative that you all have continued to rely on us as your local real estate experts.

At Birdsong Real Estate we have done our best to respond and adapt to the market and have gone through various changes ourselves.

Recently we have gone through a change that is very much bittersweet.

Josie LaChance, who for the last 7 years has been a huge asset to our Team has left Birdsong Real Estate to pursue and create her own real estate vision.

We truly appreciate everything Josie has done for us in her time here. While we will certainly be missing her efforts and contributions, we wish her nothing but the best in her new endeavor and are excited to see her succeed as we know she will.

The second quarter of 2021 has been outstanding in the Brazosport Area. Just about every city had more sales at a higher average price than Q1. The days on market has also gone down in just about every city. This has a lot to do with a lack of inventory in the market. Most cities are seeing half, or less, of a normal market condition amount of inventory. The increase in sales prices correlates, not only with a low inventory, but interest rates have remained at a near all-time low. With the limited inventory it has been a great time to sell your home, and the low interest rates have also made it a great time to buy a home. Interest rates are expected to stay down at least for the next quarter. We, at Birdsong Real Estate, would also like to thank all our wonderful customers for allowing us to do what we love every day and represent so many great buyers and sellers.
