It's Throwback Thursday!

This picture may be blurry, but the memories are not.

For 25 years, I had the privilege of serving as a first responder. I stand beside people during difficult times. Today, as a realtor, I have the opportunity to help people during some of their happiest moments --- finding a place they can call home and begin a new chapter.

My motto: "I've helped people during their worst days, now I can help them during their best days!"

Every experience teaches us something and leads us to exactly where we're meant to be.

Twenty-five years later, we remember.

It’s hard to believe 25 years have passed since September 11, 2001. There are some days that stay with you no matter how much time passes, and this is one of them.

Today, we remember every life behind the numbers.

The passengers and crews aboard the four flights. Those working in the World Trade Center and the Pentagon. The first responders who ran toward unimaginable danger. The families who said goodbye that morning without knowing it would be the last time.

We remember the survivors, the rescue and recovery workers, and the many who have since lost their lives or continue to live with illnesses connected to that day.

For those of us who wear/ have worn a uniform, September 11 is a profound reminder of the promise inherent in choosing a life of service. But today, above all else, is about remembering them.

The 2,977 lives lost.
The courage and sacrifice of those who responded.
The families who have carried their loss for 25 years.
And all those whose lives were forever changed.

Twenty-five years later, we pause.
We honor.
We remember.

Never forget. 🇺🇸

Whether you’ve known me for years or you’re just dropping by, I thought it might be time for a little reintroduction… 😊

I’m Wendi, and if there’s one thing that has always been a big part of who I am, it’s helping people. ❤️

As a first responder, I’ve spent much of my life serving people on some of their hardest days. 🚒 Real estate gives me the opportunity to be there for their best ones too. 🏡🔑

From buying a first home 🏠, finding a forever home, starting over somewhere new, relocating, or saying goodbye to a home filled with memories, I love being able to help people through those important moments.

Somewhere between life, family, and helping people find a place to call home, I realized I haven’t done a very good job of reminding everyone that I’m a REALTOR®! 🤦🏼‍♀️
