Well… that escalated quickly. 😳⛽️

Earlier today: $5.85/gallon for diesel.
Tonight: $6.39/gallon.

That’s a 54¢ jump in a matter of hours! 😩

At this rate, if you see me scooting around Orlando on my scooter, mind your business. 😂🛴 I’ve got places to be, but apparently my truck and my wallet are no longer on speaking terms.

It’s not been fun driving around lately with as high as fuel prices are ! Those of you who own a diesel vehicle feel my pain ! Heck , even regular fuel !!! I use my truck for my equestrian business , so it’s a necessary evil … plus I do love it because it’s sooo comfortable and that’s also a necessary evil with my back issues . Hoping and praying prices will go down !!

What are you up to today ?

Me … I’m showing houses!
It’s been a busy weekend between lessons , running my Short Term Rental, getting some girl time in, and running errands !

Hoping everyone had a great weekend !!

There are things they DON’T prepare you for in real estate… 😳🏡

I arrived early to a showing today like I always try to doturn on the lights, open up the house and have everything ready before the buyers arrive.

I’m heading upstairs when I look up and see it…

A HUGE PALMETTO BUG. 😱

And y’all… I have a legitimate PHOBIA of these things. 😂

But the upstairs lights needed to be turned on, so I said a quick prayer, gathered every ounce of courage I had and RAN past it. 🙏😂

Then came the realization…

I HAD TO GO BACK DOWN.

My heart was racing because all I could picture was that thing taking flight at exactly the wrong moment and me tumbling down the stairs. 🪳➡️😱➡️🤸‍♀️

Forget difficult negotiations.
Forget inspections.
Forget appraisals.

THIS is my Realtor nightmare. 😂

But the lights were on and the house was ready when the buyers arrived. Mission accomplished. 🏡✅

Central Florida Realtors… please tell me I’m NOT the only one who checks the walls for Palmetto bugs during showings?! 😂👇.

$1.29 for ANY SIZE Premium Roast or Iced Coffee?! Good through 9/27!! Obviously I went with the large. Because if we’re saving money, we might as well caffeinate properly. 😂

And yes… I absolutely felt like I won a tiny little lottery when they handed me this giant iced coffee for $1.29.

☕️ Are you an iced coffee all year long person like me, or do you switch back to hot coffee once fall arrives?

Because Florida says it’s fall… but the temperature says keep the iced coffee coming. 🍂😂

My absolute FAVORITE time of year is finally here! 🙌🍁

Bring on the pumpkins, falling leaves, cooler mornings, cozy blankets, fall candles, spooky season, comfort food, Thanksgiving gatherings, Christmas lights… and ALL the magic that comes with the last four months of the year. 🧡

There’s just something about the “BER” months that makes everything feel a little cozier and a little more magical. ✨

And yes… I fully intend to enjoy EVERY SINGLE MINUTE of it. 😂🎃🍂👻☕️🎄
