There’s something about standing on those beaches in Normandy that changes you a little. The weight of the sacrifice, the stories, the courage… it all feels so much bigger when you’re there.

I’m especially grateful we had the opportunity to take Maddie and experience it together. To learn, to reflect, and to remember the men and women who gave everything for freedoms we often take for granted.

Normandy was one place, one chapter — but today we honor all who served and sacrificed. Forever grateful. 🇺🇸

Okay but why does buying a house sometimes feel a little like a rom-com gone wrong? 😂🏡

Inspired by one of the the greatest rom coms: How to Lose a House in 10 Days-

A few real ways buyers accidentally tank a deal:

💳 Opening a new credit card before closing
🛋 Financing all the furniture before you even get the keys
💼 Switching jobs mid-transaction
🙈 Going in super low “just to see what happens” in a competitive market

I know everyone gets excited once they find the one… but sometimes the little things are what cause the biggest headaches.

The good news? Almost all of it is avoidable when you have someone walking you through it before you start clicking “add to cart” on the new sectional.

Sometimes the highest offer doesn’t win in Central Florida… and these buyers are proof. 🤍

We were competing against multiple offers and my clients still won — without being the highest price or the fastest close.

Here’s what actually tipped the scales:
• a strong lender + fully dialed-in pre-approval
• a longer closing timeline that gave the sellers more flexibility for their out-of-state move
• keeping inspection protections in place while still offering certainty

Instead of just throwing money at the deal, we focused on what the sellers actually needed.

That’s the part people don’t always see about real estate — strategy matters just as much as price.
